Statement of Faith

Triune God

TI Clinicians believe that there is one God, eternally co-existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:26, Genesis 3:22, Gen 11:7, Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Ephesians 4:4-6)

Jesus

TI Clinicians believe Jesus Christ is God’s only begotten son, fully God and fully human. (John 1:1-2, Phil 2:6-11, Heb 1:3, The Nicene Creed) He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. (Luke 1:35, John 1:1–2, 14) He died upon the cross, for the just and for the unjust,(1 Peter 3:18, 1 John 2:1-2) as a substitutionary sacrifice, (John 3:16, Heb 2:19) and all who believe in Him are justified by His shed blood. (John 3:16, Romans 3:24, Ephesians 1:7, 1 Peter 1:3, 1 Peter 2:24) He arose from the dead. (Matthew 28:5-7, Mark 15:5-7, Luke 24:5-7, John 20:13-20, Acts 2:23-24) The Lord Jesus Christ ascended into heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God where, as our High Priest, He continually acts as our Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate. (John 16:28, John 17:9, Acts 1:9, 10, Romans 8:34, Hebrews 7:25, Hebrews 8:1, Hebrews 9:24,  1 John 2:1–2) Jesus will come again to judge the living and the dead and establish his eternal kingdom. (Matthew 26:64, Romans 14:9, 2 Timothy 4:1, 1 Peter 4:5, Revelation 1:7, Revelation 21:1-3)

Word of God

TI Clinicians believe the Holy Scripture, both the Old Testament and the New Testament, to be the verbally inspired word of God, the final authority for faith and life, infallible, and God-breathed through the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 5:18, John 16:13, 2 Timothy 3:16–17, 2 Peter 1:20–21;)

Source of healing

TI Clinicians believe that God is the author of all creation. (Gen 1:1, Act 17:24, Col 1:16-17) As our creator, God alone has complete knowledge of how we can heal and be made whole. (Num 12:13, Proverbs 3:5-8, Isaiah 30:26, Matthew 8:2) God is the ultimate source of our healing-body, mind and soul. (Proverbs 4:20-22, Isaiah 6;10, Jeremiah 30:17, Matthew 10:8, Mark 5:30, Luke 6:19)

Treatment

TI Clinicians believe that all scientific, osteopathic, psychiatric, psychological or secular principles should be thoroughly evaluated in the light of Scripture, and that Scripture has the authority to guide our treatment principles and practices. (2 Timothy 3:16)
